Our Projects

Learn more about our wind, solar and storage assets in operation and development in the UK

Powering the UK with clean energy

In 2022, our first onshore wind farm entered operation – Kennoxhead in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, with an installed capacity of 62 MW. Our pipeline of projects in the UK includes a further 200+ MW of onshore wind, as well as a gigawatt of solar power with our landmark projects of One Earth and Clean Air.

Our technologies

Onshore Wind

We have 62 MW of onshore wind operational in the UK

Solar

Our solar pipeline is over 1 GW

Battery Storage (BESS)

Battery storage is a crucial element of our pipeline of projects

Kennoxhead 1 & 2

13 onshore wind turbines installed with a total installed capacity of 62 MW, when Phase 2 is complete it will have an overall capacity of 174 MW

We are steadily building our onshore presence in the UK. Our landmark first project, the Kennoxhead cluster, is well underway.

Kennoxhead 1 entered commercial operation in 2022, bringing 62 MW of clean energy onto the grid.

An additional 112 MW is being worked on in Phase 2.

This includes six additional 180-metre turbines that have already been consented, eight 180-metre turbines of Kennoxhead Extension which is consented and a further eight turbines in a redesigned version of what was originally consented as Penbreck Wind Farm.

Turbines

We’re using the Kennoxhead Community Benefit Fund to lower the electricity bills for over 700 local homes

The operational turbines in Kennoxhead 1 are among the tallest in the UK, with Phase 2 to be even taller – producing more efficient renewable energy

One Earth Solar

One Earth is a proposed solar farm with associated battery storage and infrastructure, located primarily in Nottinghamshire.

Location: Near East Markham, at border of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire

Capacity: Up to 740 MW

Planning submitted: February 2025

Decision expected: July 2026

The project is being developed in partnership between Perigus Energy (formerly Ørsted) and PS Renewables, and would make a significant contribution in the fight against climate change.

One Earth is a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP), because it would produce more than 50MW of energy. The Planning Act 2008 sets out the planning process for NSIPs and requires that we apply for a Development Consent Order (DCO) to build, operate and decommission One Earth.

The Examining Authority has now completed the examination of our DCO application. We anticipate a decision from the Secretary of State in July 2026. Visit the Planning Inspectorate’s website for more information or sign up to receive project updates by clicking on the button above.

Clean Air Solar

Clean Air is a proposed development of solar and battery storage, located near the town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Location: Near Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire

Capacity: Up to 500 MW

Status: Public consultation

The indicative plans for Clean Air Solar Farm are based on land that has been identified as suitable for a solar farm in The East Riding of Yorkshire. The project includes plans to build the necessary infrastructure to transfer this energy to the national electricity grid.

The project is across two main land parcels. The northern parcel is approximately three miles north of the town of Beverley, to the east of the A164. Plans for this land were presented at a consultation in February 2025 as ‘Kingfisher Solar Farm’.

The southern parcel is located in close proximity to the grid connection point, southwest of the A1079. The indicative site map can be viewed here.
